BIOGRAPHIE
Christophe Gernigon est un architecte d’intérieur et designer français, originaire de Normandie. Après un début de carrière dans la mode, notamment chez Hermès, il se tourne vers le design d’objets, de mobilier et la scénographie ( Maison Sarah Lavoine, Carré Blanc, Warner Bros...). En 2018, il fonde Christophe Gernigon Studio, spécialisé dans le design, la décoration et l’architecture intérieure. Il est notamment connu pour Plex’Eat, un concept de visières suspendues en plexiglas salué pour son esthétisme et son ingéniosité pendant la pandémie. Il travaille aujourd’hui sur des projets variés (architecture d'intérieur, scènographie, home staging), mêlant poésie, fonctionnalité et durabilité.
Christophe Gernigon is a French interior architect and designer from Normandy. After beginning his career in fashion, notably at Hermès, he turned to object design, furniture, and scenography (Maison Sarah Lavoine, Carré Blanc, Warner Bros…). In 2018, he founded Christophe Gernigon Studio, specializing in design, decoration, and interior architecture. He is best known for Plex’Eat, a concept of suspended plexiglass visors praised for its aesthetic appeal and ingenuity during the pandemic. Today, he works on a variety of projects (interior design, scenography, home staging), combining poetry, functionality, and sustainability.
